THE CONFEDERATE FLAG STILL FLIES ON THE GROUNDS OF THE S.C. STATE CAPITAL
As many are aware of, South Carolina has been in a debate over whether to continue to fly The Confederate Flag over their State Capital or not(CLICK HERE FOR BRIEFING). The reason, Sen. John McCain and Civil Rights Groups and Democrats, claim it to be a symbol of oppression and racism. As noted by the Fox News Network MIKE HUCKABEE supported the choice of flying The Confederate Flag .
As a result, Sen. John McCain was blasted and Mike Huckabee received praises. Mike Huckabee went as far as to tell the Pro-Confederate Flag crowd that his good-ole boys in Arkansas wouldn’t tolerate that type of “outside interference” by some trouble makers sticking their nose in that type of business. In fact, Mike Huckabee said Arkansas would “…TELL THEM WHERE TO PUT THE POLE, THAT’S WHAT WE’D DO!(Click Here For C.B.S. News Coverage)”. HUCKABEE REMOVES ALL DOUBT ABOUT HIS STANCE ON CONFEDERATE FLAG

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — “South Carolinians know true conservatism when they see it,” said Mike Huckabee to voters at his brief touchdown at a Myrtle Beach jet hangar.
“You don’t like people from outside the state coming and telling you how you oughta raise your kids. You don’t like people coming from outside the state coming down and telling you what you want to do with your flag.”
“In fact, if someone came to the state of Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we’d tell them where to put the pole – that’s what we’d do,” said Huckabee.
Huckabee brought up the Confederate flag issue at the first two stops of his puddle-jumping tour today — first in Myrtle Beach and later in Florence.
I give credit where credit is due. In an interview with Katie Kouric(Interview Called “Worst Advice” by C.B.S.), John McCain was asked what was the worst piece of advice HE had given to another person. In the said video clip at minutes 01:37 -2:21 Sen. John McCain ,unlike Larry’s financially FILLED Huckabee, stated:

Out Of All The "Conservatives" To Financially Support Why Would Larry Stockstill Donate $4,600.00 To A Canidate That Condones The Continued Flying Of The Offensive Confederate Flag?! Well Atleast We Know Of Another Louisiana Boy Who Agrees It Should Be Hung On The Wall or Flown In Public!
Now, with two Republicans speaking against this sign of racial oppression why did Larry Stockstill financially back the ONLY RACIST WHO DEFENDED THE FLAG WITH $4,600.00 in donations??!! The only time they jumped on the McCain/Palin Bandwagon was when their Rebel Flag fellow lost the nomination! I guess Huckabee was too honest and open,Ooops!
I actually think Larry’s support of Huckabee over McCain and others had more to do with his stronger stance against abortion and gay-marriage than it did with his view of the Confederate flag.
That said, I don’t believe I could ever support a candidate who openly-supported the flying of the Confederate flag in public.
I don’t want to start a debate about the Confederate flag because it will go nowhere. However, I will reiterate that I oppose the flying of the flag in public places. For anyone curious, I am white.
Also, I am distancing myself from the implications that Larry is racist.

It just amazes me how the INDIVIDUALS and ORGANIZATIONS, he supports have in-your-face racism past AND present. If I supported the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, Fruit of Islam, and The Black Panther Party or an IDIVIDUAL in those organizations that currently runs for public office, it would be hard to argue that I don’t have a history of supporting racists.
Now whether or not that makes me racist is A WHOLE ANOTHER TOPIC. It’s definitely hard to pinpoint Larry Dean. He definitely supports racists and their organizations, so……….what would that make him? Most of them prefer to be called “Conservative”
But maybe Larry Stockstill is that naive and living with his head in the sand and all of this is coincedence. Yeah, O.K.
I’m going to stay out of this debate, but I believe that you contradicted yourself by stating, “whether that me makes me a racist is a whole another topic” and then ended by writing, “He definitely supports racists and their organizations, so….what would that make him?”
That analogy does not work here. If I were to support a conservative Democrat does that mean that I am conservative myself? I don’t think so. For me, it just means that I think a conservative Democrat would be the better option in a general election.
Again, I am staying out of this conversation from this point forward, and am distancing myself from the implications made that Larry is a racist.

I would agree to disagree. I agree if you supported “A” (single)conservative Democrat does that mean that I am a conservative? No. I agree because there is no consistency or stable history.
HOWEVER….if you had a history of constantly supporting conservative Democrats(plural) it would be a contradiction to say “I’m not conservative”. It would seem as if you’re fooling yourself or suppressing your true view.
David Duke was the most “conservative” nominee at one point in Louisiana history, it is my humble opinion if you supported him ((AND)) those politicians who bought his mailing list and never denounce organizations (two in fact) that have called Obama a monkey, it would be hard to convince black america you’re not a racist and that you only think David Duke “would be a better option” ,conservatively choosing.
Isn’t it sad how Larry used Joel in 2008 to peddle his publican politics to Bethany congregants. Larry never mentioned anything about Huckabee, McCain, or Palin on his blog prior to the election.
At least Joel had the courage to tout the McCain/Palin ticket on his blog. Sad, Larry. Very sad.

Larry definitely played Joel like a fool! Larry remained silent but showed up like a hero once Pres. Obama got elected. The good thing many at Southern- U weren’t fooled. You should read Amber’s article at The Southern Digest. However, when Larry’s black remnant heard of it, they pounced all over Sister Amber! I felt so bad for her.

Also, forgot to mention that Larry’s brilliant wife Melanie also wrote about voting “responsibly” prior to the election in 2008, informing readers to keep in mind the “wicked” and “evil” homosexual spirits that are in America.
I don’t know about you, Obadyah, but I voted responsibly last November. Thankfully, so did most of the rest of America.

Though I don’t agree with the homosexual agenda, I certainly don’t agree with Republican Christianity, I.e., take from the poor give to the rich. In my article I noted how one President immediately resigned from The Christian Coalition because they informed him they were not interested in fighting for Civil Rights, only homosexuals. It’s ironic how Republicans spoke out on abortions but not The Bushs’ War-4-Iraqi-Oil which killed many innocent babies.
