FIRST YOU COWARD, YOU DID NOT ENGAGE IN “MAJOR WARFARE”, you hid behind “Big Mike” who you stated put the “SMACK DOWN” on the man confronting you!! This is proof that the Stockstills will use “SMACK DOWNS” if you get out of line and contest their corruption.
This hypocrite just got through preaching in his blog how hypocritical Christians find violence entertaining(CLICK HERE) yet he does the same. He attended G.I.Joe which parents and Christians are protesting because they’re kids attended this violent film AND he used violence against a man confronting him. Those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me. But that doesn’t matter. I’ve been there. From what you see in T.V. and Sunday Service is TOTALLY DIFFERENT when they isolate you in their “ENCOUNTERS”. They tell you not to communicate with ANYONE ON THE OUTSIDE the whole weekend. That whole weekend they talk down to you about how a terrible sinner you are BY ROBBING THE TITHE!! If course you’ll give more money because they’ve accused you IN FRONT OF EVERBODY of stealing God’s cash!!
Once you get in on the real inside, things get scarey!!
—–220 DUCKIE WRITES: I have to say, the encounters are not as you percieve them to be. The isolation from the outside world is not a cult thing. They don’t want you to be distracted by anything not of God. My friend had a boyfriend of which she had a soul tie with who she texted non stop and on the encounter my cell leader took her phone (only during the sessions) so she wouldn’t be distracted by him. She has now broken up with him and is living for God. The isolation is so that you can be totally focused on God the whole weekend and not focused on the outside world.

——OVADYAH RESPONDS——I disagree, the real reason is because at these isolated gatherings victims are re-victimized by unbiblical rituals such as slain in the spirit. This unbiblical ritual was never a regular practice in early Christianity but find it’s birth in the deceptive “Pensacola Outpouring” where Steve Hill and many other pastors have admitted to exaggerating claims and recanting supposed miracles. They practice the same Counterfeit Revivals as Televangelist scam artist Benny Hinn(as noted in other articles on Ovadyah’s Blog).
They ban and confiscate any possible video recording of these unbiblical rituals so the truth won’t be revealed. So, isolation and closed doors are the norm at Bethany.

It doesn’t suprise me that such forced conversions and violence is still taking place because the youth pastor, Joel, brags about having Big Mike beat people up who step out of line and contest his status as a prophet. Such force is another sign of a cult.
I know when I attended people were texting their pastors and churches telling them they wanted to leave because they were frightened of what was going on. But before their loved ones could respond A CELL LEADER TOOK THEIR CELLPHONE(just as you admitted). Again, such forced conversions is scarey. Many people are seduced from their churches only to find themselves trapped and their phones confiscated when caught(THANKS FOR REMINDING ME).
After two days of isolation from friends, family, and your real church, you’re faced with nonstop preaching about how much of a sinner you are until they break you down!!! Next thing you know, you become a full fledge cult member tricking others you witness to and get them to attend these forced conversions. I can’t believe you actually added to Bethany’s list of forceful and violent ministering and call that “…totally focused on God”. THAT’S SICK!
In reading more of your blog, I see that you are referencing a lot of things that apparently happened during the presidential campaign and thereafter. I had already moved away from B.R. by then and have no idea what was or was not said at Bethany. Many caucasian Christians have serious issues with the way the election turned out and I would not be surprised if Joel is one of them. Has there been some mass exodus of blacks from Bethany starting in 2008?
