I told you in a previous blog (Larry Stockstill’s Indirect Repentance) that only time will tell if  Larry was sincere about his repentance. I’m sure you’ve all heard his sermons about true repentance. It’s about turning the other way and doing the right thing.  I’m sad to say Larry Stockstill is a thief and con-artist, an oppurtunist.  He pledged that he and his wife Melanie Stockstill would make sacrifices with their congregation if the congregation pledged into his 20/20 vision program by not just paying tithes but by making additional sacrifices like:

1. Surrendering family heirlooms to the Stockstills
2. Signing over your homes to the Stockstills
3. Working Part time jobs and give him your checks
4. Give more than 10% out of your paychecks
5. Hand over any pay raises to him

It’s going to take tremendous sacrifice and teamwork to achieve our 20/20 Vision. Melanie and I are prepared to make the greatest commitment to Bethany we have ever made.(exact pledge of Melanie and Larry Stockstill)

Again, if the congregation agreed to hand over their additional monies and property and make sacrifices like cancelling trips and vacations, he promised he would do the same. However, Larry Stockstill lied to the people and does nothing but takes trips to Europe and monopolize real estate in Baton Rouge, put his kids through the best colleges, and allow them to travel Europe as well. ABSOLUTELY NO SACRIFICES, PURE LIES TO GET THE PEOPLES’ MONEY, JUST AS ORAL ROBERTS AND THE REST OF THE CORRUPT CHARISMATIC TELEVANGELIST DO!! As we seen with Al Sharpton and the local Black Churches in North Iberville, unlike Bethany these small churches still fight for civil rights while The Stockstills talk the talk.

For those who need a refresher, despite the thousands that attend Bethany and keep calling it a “non-denominational church” it’s part of the Charismatic(CLICK HERE) Third Wave move ment. Lying Larry even graduated from the dubious Oral Roberts University that was filled with misappropiation of funds, lawsuits, and founded by a lying prophet Oral Roberts(claimed God would kill him if he didn’t receive more money to build a cancer institute which later went bankrupt, LOL).

Lying Larry followed his denominations corruption with the Prosperity Gospel movement which preached that Godliness is a means to financial gain(1Tim.6:5). As a result, Larry produced his book The Laws of Increase which promises if you follow these laws you’ll get your increase. This man of greed didn’t stop there, after selling his radio station and received $3.2 million, he wanted more and coerced his congregation into making pledges as outlined in his 20/20 Vision Plan.

One of the basic pledges was to cancel trips. I know of many who did and are still doing that while Larry and HIS KIDS travel the world and graduate from the best colleges!! While Larry lied about his pledge, the naive congregation continues to obey, RIGHT IN THEY FACE IS THE EVIDENCE!!

7.  also a FULL TOUR OF EPHESUS
8.   Miletus,
9. and finally he brags “All this week we will be in Turkey touring the seven churches of Revelation.”

 

You know what broke my heart, read the comment posted by Tony Foster on June 8, 2009 at 8:10am.

 

“I hope one day to be able to do the same and visit those sites. I would love to stand on the shores where Paul and Barnabas launched out on their first missionary journey.”

 

Eventhough Larry Stockstill Has A Bethany Campus In Plaquemine He Didn't Stay And Fight For Our Children. Al Sharpton Had To Show Up From Out of State!! Larry Stockstill Took A Vacation While His Subjects Continue Uphold Their Pledge To Sacrifice Vacations and Other Pleasures. I No Longer Have To Tell My Kids, "Not This Year" Because We Broke Free From Larry's Greed!!

 

I know of many who are sticking with their 20/20 vision pledge and still paying tithes AND making sacrifices to obey Larry’s Laws of Increase.  The people have bought into Larry’s lies hook, line, and sinker!! It’s in plain site and they still can’t see the lies, broken pledges, hypocrisy, robbing of the poor. Why? Because they have been brainwashed that The Stockstills are untouchable prophets of God. LARRY STOCKSTILL CLAIMED IN CHARISMA MAGAZINE THAT GOD SHOWED HIM A VISION OF JUDGEMENT DAY!! YET, LARRY’S ON VACATION TAKING IT EASY!! It was all a scam to promote his book, The Remnant. Every vision from this false prophet just happens at the same time he publishes another book! Wake Up Folks, the world is laughing at you.

 

Tony Foster, a sincere message to you and yours. As long as you believe and follow Larry Stockstill’s financial pledges you’ll never see the things he gets to see. Your storehouse is being robbed and tossed into the Stockstill Unlimited Funds. He lied to you. He never stuck with his pledge. The Stockstills as a whole have been traveling the world and studying at the best colleges. Our children will never see what their kids experience if we continue to buy into his scams.

As soon as I realized these scams, I’ve been able to:

1. Give reasonable support to my local church
2. Take much needed vacations with my family ANNUALLY
3. Actually pay off bills instead of following the Larry’s way of giving him over and beyond donations with the hopes that God will reward me by paying my bills supernaturally
4. Have enough save for 3 out 4 of my kids to attend LSU

 

We have people being murdered in Baker(CLICK HERE)  and churches protesting in Plaquemine for blacks to get an equal oppurtunity in education(CLICK HERE)  AND HERE WE HAVE THE STOCKSTILLS BUYING UP PROPERTY AND TRAVELING ABROAD eventhough there is a Bethany campus in Plaquemine. It seems when blacks need a Civil Rights leader or help, the Stockstills flee them.

 

  Larry Stockstill like his son, travels when times are bad. Remember Joel fled Baton Rouge area immediately after Gustav for West Palm Beach for some shopping while everyone else barely had food and electricity.  Well, his Daddy fled when Rev. Al Sharpton came into N.Iberville. WBRZ showed black church members praying over the School Board and being arrested. WBRZ showed a murdered victim in the poor city of Baker where Larry lives.

 

The above travel through Europe isn’t the only broken vow to make sacrifices. If you search his blogs you’ll find him overseas promoting his book and other speaking ventures. Where is the sacrifices he promised to make??!! Where are the sacrifices his kids promised to make??!!

Joel Stockstill, Persecuted Prophet??!! Tuesday, Jun 2 2009

Peace And Grace Be Upon The Assembly of God Who Have Been Blessed With The Gift of Discernment

 

 

     First, a little history of those unaware. Joel Stockstill has a history of failed prophecies, in particular, he prophesied that Christ was going to heal his wife from her disease on the foundation of poor hermeneutics; See Here. The Biblical Prophets were very different from False Prophets by the fulfillment of their prophecies. Joel’s history is hit and miss; He misses on the details but when he speaks like a French Quarter Palm Reader with vagueness, he’s able to coerce his prophecies into a hit.

 

Second, he proclaimed Gov. Sarah Palin as an annointed princess versus President Obama. He campaigned for her via his website with article praising her Christianity and family as annointed. He along with the other false Televangelist/Prophet Kim Clement claimed Sarah Palin would “shake things up” during the election process. This is where he “hits” because the prophecy is so vague, it can be fulfilled no matter what. Wouldn’t a African American Christian President being elected considered to be “shaking things up” rather than a dense barbie like Palin whose daughter is pregnant unwed teen?

 

However,  his campaigning (or as Joel dressed it up) “Prophecy” about Sarah Palin caused a split in his predominately black congregation.  Joel, with the help of other managers, were able to divide and conquer this protest.  However, some continue to attend the church yet remain against Joel Stockstill and surely let him know it. These blacks only attend because of their loyalty to their Cell-Leader and friends.  Yet, this remnant continues to speak their minds and JOEL KNOWS IT!!

 

 

Joel Stockstill, Persecuted Prophet or Cry Baby?

 

As a result,  Joel seeks more pity and dresses himself up like a “PERSECUTED PROPHET”. He uses a lone verse from Hosea(9:8) which states:

 

The Prophet, along with my God, is the watchman over Ephraim, yet snares await him in all his paths and hostility in the house of his God(V.8)

 

Joel obviously justifying his campaigning for Sarah Palin and the disturbance it caused, now claims to have “…snares await him in all his paiths and hostility in the house of his God(Hos.9:8)”.

 

The problem with Joel’s eisegesis is that Joel Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET no matter how many times he blogs about his claim AND Larry Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET despite him claiming to see visions of JUDGEMENT DAY approaching(this comes conviently in time for his latest book, The Remnant). Both so-called prophets have a history of failed prophecies. YOU CAN’T BE RIGHT SOME OF THE TIME YOU HAVE TO PROPHETICALLY CORRECT ALL THE TIME. I’m still awaiting an answer to my “Serious Question About The Stockstill’s Claim To Be Biblical Prophets“. Their propecies always comes in sync with either a book deal, conference, or members they can’t control.

 

Joel, having a double standard against Pres. Obama and being held accountable for it, doesn’t make you a Persecuted Prophet, it makes you a hypocrite and racist. One standard for whites and another for blacks. You still fail to speak about the lack of morality in the Palin houselhold with Bristol Palin’s out wedlock birth, yet you expose the splinters in Pres. Obama’s eyes.

 

You’re claim to be a Prosecuted Prophet is pathetic, God will continue to visit his judgements on your house and save the true victims.

Serious Question About The Stockstill’s Being Prophets Friday, Apr 3 2009

     I have a serious  question for the followers of Bethany World Prayer Center. First, I already know they claim the tricksters, KIM CLEMENT and ORAL ROBERTS and BENNY HINN are biblical prophets of God. They supported Kim Clement’s prophecy that Sarah Palin would “shake things up” in the Presidential campaign due to her holiness(LOL) and hold Oral Roberts in very high esteem despite his failed prophecy that God gave him a message to build a Cancer Research Institute or God would kill him(Oral Roberts); years later that Research Center that God supposedly wanted went bankrupt!!

However, now Joel Stockstill and his daddy, Larry Stockstill, are claiming to be biblical prophets. Larry Stockstill is seeing dreams OF JUDGEMENT DAY and Joel Stockstill is “hearing” direct messages from THE LORD(despite both of their failed prophecy that Joel’s wife Amy wouldn’t die from her disease). Joel’s latest prophecy comes via his twitter blog called Hippofloat, “Geaux TIGERS!!! LSU wins championship at same time as 220 conf. that would[sic]  supercool and prophetic in some kind of way. Hippomusings” 8:58 pm, Jun 22. This so called prophet just loves to mock the holiness of the High Office of Prophet. He sums up very well how he goes about making his vague prophecies come true with calling LSU’s winning “…PROPHETIC IN SOME KIND OF WAY”. LOL!! That’s about right for all of his “hearing from the Lord”.

 

QUESTION: DO YOU  BELIEVE THE STOCKSTILLS SELF PROCLAMATION THAT THEY ARE MODERN DAY PROPHETS? IF SO, WHO ARE THE OTHER PROPHETS IN YOUR DENOMINATION(Charismatics)BESIDES BENNY HINN, KIM CLEMENT, ORAL ROBERTS, AND THE STOCKSTILLS?

 

God supposedly showed This proclaimed prophet(Larry Stockstill) that he's getting ready to initiate JUDGEMENT DAY on the church. This has been the sales pitch for his latest book, The Remnant.

 

Larry’s latest so-called prophecy comes just in time for the Pagan Feast of Easter(instead of Christ’s Passover Feast):

 

“In prayer this morning, I could see vultures circling over a lone figure in the wilderness. It was a confused, burned out, offended, deceived believer who has allowed the enemy to separate them from the Body of Christ. Satan is watching their pitiful condition in order to devour them. How many there are who once walked with the Lord and were happily in fellowship with other believers in the local church. Now, because of overwork, wrong priorities, relationship problems, hurt feelings, or temptation they are out in the “wilderness.”

 

It’s obvious that membership is down since the Stockstill’s belittling of President Obama.  He describes those who left the church as “…a lone figure in the wilderness”. It’s amazing how THE LORD shows Larry these dreams yet says nothing about how Bethany not only celebrates a Pagan Feast but renames The Holy Feast of Passover(1Cor.5:8) with the name of another god. One doesn’t need to be a prophet to see Larry Stockstill’s hypocrisy. What does the god easter and her bunny have to do with The Real GOD and His Passover Lamb? or as Paul states about this unequal yoke….

Larry Stockstill’s Indirect Repentance Wednesday, Aug 27 2008

PEACE AND GRACE IN THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS WHO GIVES US UNDERSTANDING AND FREEDOM

 

     I knew this day would come. The traffic that has dramatically increased to this site it was only a matter of time that word would get back to Larry Stockstill of Bethany.com concerning Ovadyah’s Weblog.

     If you will take time to remember Pastor Joel Osteen’s interview on Larry King Live viewed by many on CNN. Larry King specifically asked Joel if he truly believed the words of Christ that He was the only way to The Father and if Muslims reject Christ and never accept Christ will they get into heaven. Joel danced around the question and was obviously afraid to back up Christ and buckled like Peter in the courtyard! After several complaints from his congregation, Joel Osteen apologized but not directly/formally but on a link tucked away on the congregations website which I can no longer locate.

     That brings us to Larry Stockstill. The word has obviously reached his ears about a menacing man of God who is slowly exposing the corruption of his House of Poverty(Bethany). Again, from the influx of traffic over the past (4) days I knew it was inevitable. Larry Stockstill quickly added TODAY(Aug.27,2008)!!!

 

In today’s world of hype, complex and false doctrine, phony testimonies, wild visions, and weird practices, I come back to “simplicity and sincerity.”

 

     Wow, this is definitely a mouthful and a good start. As I said to Miss Marian’s emotional message, “I give credit where credit is due”.  We the people at Ovadyah are still on alert and will never let our guard down but again good start. 

     I remain on alert because it’s an indirect repentance. He describes todays church or in his words “today’s world”  as(using his adjectives, Webster’s definitions, my examples):

• Hype– To put on or deceive. For example Pastor Steve Hill’s claim about Congressman, Police with prisoners, etc. flooding his Pensacola/Brownesvill Revivals.
• Complex– Hard to analyze, e.g., the voices that Televangelist constantly hear from God which contradicts written Scripture(complex because the member becomes confused. If my pastor claims to be hearing from God why does he/she contradict Scripture?! I don’t want to be a trouble maker)
• False Doctrine- Deceptive teachings, e.g., Benny Hinn’s slaying people in the spirit, T.D. Jakes denial of the Trinity,  Oprah’s denial that Christ is the only way)
• Phony Testimonies– A public confession of a FALSE EXPERIENCE, e.g., Steve Hill recanting and later admitting to exaggerate his preconversion life in order to “INCREASE THE IMPACT” of his autobiography, “Stone Cold Heart” which was exposed by the local newspaper(Pensacola News Journal AND  Encyclopedia of Evangelism, Randall Balmer, Pg.107 entitled Brownesville Revival).
• Wild Visions- Fake dreams/divine Revelation(s), e.g., visits to heaven, dreams confirmed as visions from God without being sure, retelling complex dreams but not sure of it’s meaning (if any).
• Weird Practices – Slain in the spirit(or as many have experience, shoved/forced down by cell leaders’ hands) disorder in the church by encouraging everyone to talk out loud which obviously will lead to unintelligable words falsey labeled “Speaking In Tongues”, Giving up money to the church until it ruins your families future.

 

     I couldn’t describe Bethany any better! However, let’s give credit where it’s due. Pastor Larry goes on to confess:

“I come back to simplicity and sincerity.”

 

     A Christian who knows Scripture and baby greek/hebrew knows that the above statement is a loud and clear confession of REPENTANCE, i.e., “…come back….”. Pastor Larry is now realising or has realised that things are out of control despite the many Yes-Men surrounding him. Or has he realised he was wrong? It’s definitely “COMPLEX” because to the laymen indirect. Is he only saying what people want to hear and continuing his old ways?! The same could be said of Jimmy Swaggart’s confession. Though he displayed a flood of tears and a red face and publicly, directly, repented. How can we know for sure? Only time will tell, is he still allowing disorder in the church and calling it speaking in tongues, is he still allowing false doctrines to be taught because it’s popular, are those on-the-run televangelist still allowed to teach at Bethany?

     I hope that Pastor Larry is truthful in his repentance and this is not a “PHONY TESTIMONY”. An interesting lexicon entry by Easton’s Bible Dictionary states:

 

“Evangelical repentance consists of (1) a true sense of one’s own guilt and sinfulness; (2) an apprehension of God’s mercy in Christ; (3) an actual hatred of sin (Psalms 119:128; Job 42:5,6; 2co 7:10) and turning from it to God; and (4) a persistent endeavour after a holy life in a walking with God in the way of his commandments.

The true penitent is conscious of guilt (Psalms 51:4,9), of pollution (51:5,7,10), and of helplessness (51:11; 109:21,22). Thus he apprehends himself to be just what God has always seen him to be and declares him to be. But repentance comprehends not only such a sense of sin, but also an apprehension of mercy, without which there can be no true repentance (Psalms 51:1; 130:4).”

 

     We’ll see……
