Larry Stockstill continues to have all the right words but all the wrong practice. As more and more people are fleeing from his authority and revealing the scams and coercion tactics of Bethany, he claims to have spoken with a represenative from the Billy Graham Ministry about their success. Lying Larry claims Bethany has ALWAYS followed a particular rule of not speaking against other ministries:

Finally, they would never criticize other leaders from the pulpit. Using the pulpit to elbow past your competitors is not the will of God.

That is EXACTLY what we are doing in the “Remnant” movement for pastors. Thousands of pastors are reading that book and resetting their values. It’s good to know that Billy Graham did that exact thing 60 years ago and is still going strong. I believe God will do it again for the new generation!(Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at 6:23 am)

The first and obvious thing we see is the continue promotion of his book “Remnant” not God’s book, the Bible(which is free) but Larry’s Book which he claims is getting these insufficient pastors to finally start “…RESETTING THEIR VALUES”. Lying Larry needs to start with his own house before he attempts to straighten out “THOUSANDS OF PASTORS….”. Both Larry and Joel have provided false prophecies and abuse of the Scriptures to steal money from naive christians.

According to his CBS Interview, Osteen's service is an uninhibited celebration that's part rock concert, part spectacular. THERE ARE NO CROSSES, NO RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS WHATSOEVER. It's all taped and broadcast around the world. His service is seen in 100 foreign countries and is the most watched religious broadcast in America.(Click Here For entire article by CBS News)

Larry made the claim that Bethany “…WOULD NEVER CRITICIZE OTHER LEADERS FROM THE PULPIT.”. However, Joel Stockstill just condemned JOEL OSTEEN’S Church. Anyone familiar with Joel Osteen’s numerous interviews know that their Church is very liberal and does not display crosses or any religious relics or talk about sin, they only “motivate” people AND JOEL CONTRADICTS LARRY BY STATING:

“…when I hear PREACHERS say things like “our church doesn’t have a cross or anything like that in it” as a statement of relevance and persuasion to attend I GET DISGUSTED!(Posted Aug.29,2009. 11:19am)”

Joel’s criticizing The Osteens because they support Pres. Barack Obama while Joel promoted Sarah Palin/McCain during the campaign. Larry King’s interview has The Osteens stating that Pres. Obama “…DOING A GREAT JOB, LOVES THE LORD, I BELIEVE HE IS A CHRSTIAN“. Joel has yet to make any respectful statement(click here for entire interview with Osteens and Larry Kings):

“Larry King: Since you were last on, we have sworn in our first African-American president. What are your impressions [of Barack Obama]?

Joel Osteen: Well, I think he’s doing a great job. I’m impressed with his skill, his calmness, his just strength under pressure. These are tough times for him.

Victoria Osteen: I’ve been really impressed. In fact, I’ve been impressed [with] the first lady. She stepped up, and she’s done a remarkable job.

King: Recent polls show 12 percent of Americans still believe Obama is a Muslim, and 35 percent say they don’t know his religion, but to most of them it don’t matter. Should it matter?

Joel Osteen: Well, it matters to me. It matters to me that I know he loves the Lord, and I think it’s important that he has convictions from his faith. So to me, it matters when I’m making my personal decisions.

Instead Joel continues the paranoid statements made by white christians that Pres. Obama is the an agent of the Anti-Christ. This statement has never been made from Bethany until an African-American took office:

“Yes, there is a spirit of anti-Christ that would try to take over our govt and nation, but yet there is still a remnant of righteous men and women who have been placed there strategically by the Holy Spirit.(Click Here)”

Question to those who deify the Stockstills. Who’s the liar? Larry or Joel? THEY JEALOUSY IS ELBOWING PAST THE COMPETITION!! Bethany claims ony 10,000 members and national televised airing while Joel Osteen’s Church has 30,000 and international airing. But Bethany would never speak against another leader, LOL. The Stockstills are annointed, the problem is they’ve used dirty oil. As “Chris P.” commented in the blog “Joel Condemns Michael Jackson”:

“Ummm…Ovadyah you’re wasting your time with “The Remnant’ LOL,

The blacks you see that stayed behind at Bethany are “sell-outs”. The Stockstills could crap in their lap and tell em it’s an annointing and they will believe it. There’s no amount of proof that will open their eyes, I’ve been there. They use your state as a sinner against you anytime you speak against their prophet “status”.

Furthermore, look at the black leaders that remained. They have no soul!! They didn’t attend a (H)istorically (B)lack (C)ollege like Southern University, they don’t hang around blacks, they don’t know black slang, they don’t use black dialect, and they don’t even listen to black gospel music. That is how they were recruited by The Stockstills, they(The Stockstills) saw these negroes at L.S.U. and loved their “good-ole boy” demeanor and that will be the closest thing to a black minister.

I say all of that to say this. I understand your expose’ but blacks like the above will refuse to even look this way because the Stockstills have convinced them that God will punish any contesting. So, those of us who left enjoy your stance but the remnant that was bullied into staying, WILL STAY NO MATTER WHAT. You’re wasting your time trying to get them to think apart from what the Stockstills are telling them.

He even does a play on words about not lacking anything in HIS HOUSE or HIS GARAGE,LOL!! I CAN’T BELIEVE HIS BLATANT DISREGARD AND THE BLINDNESS OF HIS CONGREGANTS WHO CONTINUE “GIVING OVER AND BEYOND”.  Yes, I”m laughing at y’all!!

I’ve also noticed the Stockstills are rarely in Baton Rouge during the weekday. I’ve been informed by those who decided to leave that after the Presidential Election, Joel and Larry have been very hard to reach to address their concerns BUT LO’ AND BEHOLD they pop up in time to collect offerings on Sunday??!! During the weekday they leave their house negro to “beat down” (as Joel puts it) anyone disturbing the waters.

Joel Stockstill, Persecuted Prophet??!! Tuesday, Jun 2 2009

Peace And Grace Be Upon The Assembly of God Who Have Been Blessed With The Gift of Discernment

 

 

     First, a little history of those unaware. Joel Stockstill has a history of failed prophecies, in particular, he prophesied that Christ was going to heal his wife from her disease on the foundation of poor hermeneutics; See Here. The Biblical Prophets were very different from False Prophets by the fulfillment of their prophecies. Joel’s history is hit and miss; He misses on the details but when he speaks like a French Quarter Palm Reader with vagueness, he’s able to coerce his prophecies into a hit.

 

Second, he proclaimed Gov. Sarah Palin as an annointed princess versus President Obama. He campaigned for her via his website with article praising her Christianity and family as annointed. He along with the other false Televangelist/Prophet Kim Clement claimed Sarah Palin would “shake things up” during the election process. This is where he “hits” because the prophecy is so vague, it can be fulfilled no matter what. Wouldn’t a African American Christian President being elected considered to be “shaking things up” rather than a dense barbie like Palin whose daughter is pregnant unwed teen?

 

However,  his campaigning (or as Joel dressed it up) “Prophecy” about Sarah Palin caused a split in his predominately black congregation.  Joel, with the help of other managers, were able to divide and conquer this protest.  However, some continue to attend the church yet remain against Joel Stockstill and surely let him know it. These blacks only attend because of their loyalty to their Cell-Leader and friends.  Yet, this remnant continues to speak their minds and JOEL KNOWS IT!!

 

 

Joel Stockstill, Persecuted Prophet or Cry Baby?

 

As a result,  Joel seeks more pity and dresses himself up like a “PERSECUTED PROPHET”. He uses a lone verse from Hosea(9:8) which states:

 

The Prophet, along with my God, is the watchman over Ephraim, yet snares await him in all his paths and hostility in the house of his God(V.8)

 

Joel obviously justifying his campaigning for Sarah Palin and the disturbance it caused, now claims to have “…snares await him in all his paiths and hostility in the house of his God(Hos.9:8)”.

 

The problem with Joel’s eisegesis is that Joel Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET no matter how many times he blogs about his claim AND Larry Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET despite him claiming to see visions of JUDGEMENT DAY approaching(this comes conviently in time for his latest book, The Remnant). Both so-called prophets have a history of failed prophecies. YOU CAN’T BE RIGHT SOME OF THE TIME YOU HAVE TO PROPHETICALLY CORRECT ALL THE TIME. I’m still awaiting an answer to my “Serious Question About The Stockstill’s Claim To Be Biblical Prophets“. Their propecies always comes in sync with either a book deal, conference, or members they can’t control.

 

Joel, having a double standard against Pres. Obama and being held accountable for it, doesn’t make you a Persecuted Prophet, it makes you a hypocrite and racist. One standard for whites and another for blacks. You still fail to speak about the lack of morality in the Palin houselhold with Bristol Palin’s out wedlock birth, yet you expose the splinters in Pres. Obama’s eyes.

 

You’re claim to be a Prosecuted Prophet is pathetic, God will continue to visit his judgements on your house and save the true victims.

Joel Praises The god of easter??!! Monday, Apr 13 2009

Peace Be Upon You In The Name of Christ, Our Passover Lamb(1Cor.5:7-8)

 

       In Joel’s latest blog, Wonder of Easter(April 11, 2009),  The self proclaimed prophet Joel states, “My prophetic prayer and challenge tonight is that the God of Easter (who created the bunny but resembles a lion!) would be seen by the eyes of your heart.”.

 

Easton's Bible Dictionary- "originally a Saxon word (Eostre), denoting a goddess of the Saxons, in honour of whom sacrifices were offered about the time of the Passover. Hence the name came to be given to the festival of the Resurrection of Christ, which occured at the time of the Passover. In the early English versions this word was frequently used as the translation of the Greek pascha (the Passover). When the Authorized Version (1611) was formed, the word "passover" was used in all passages in which this word pascha occurred, except in Act 12:4. In the Revised Version the proper word, "passover," is always used.

 

     As we search the Holy Scriptures, we can not find Joel’s “god of easter”. The only God we find is the GOD of PASSOVER/UNLEAVEN BREAD.  I searched for a unbiased article and came across one from The Island of Jamaica, click here. I encourage any believer who is serious about their bible studies research the history of  the church’s fight NOT TO REPLACE  Passover with Rome’s easter feast. The author of the Jamaican Glean rightly notes:

 

Today, millions of Christians around the world celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ during this season of Easter. But perhaps most don’t realise that it was not until the fourth century that Easter was uniformly observed by Christians.

 

 

The GOD who created rabbits did not wish us to replace his Holy Day with a holiday. He did not instruct us to replace the Passover Lamb with an Easter Ham. Brothers and sisters challenge authority that replaces the commandments of GOD with the Traditions of men.

The source was difficult to determine since it was so widespread. We see the Stockstills’ Defenders  practicing the same tactics when they respond here! They hurl all kinds of adjectives, insults, and condemnations, YET NOTHING TO ACTUALLY SUPPORT THEIR STATEMENTS.  I guess is the guild of the gullible,i.e., the subordinates obey the Stockstill’s 20/20 Vision plan and their “Laws of Increase” while the Stockstills postpone NOTHING and actually brag about putting their kids through L.S.U., travels abroad, and shopping sprees for “phat threads” as Joel puts it.

Yet, I”m sure the folks at Bethany turn their heads and command their subordinates, “HEY DO NOTHING ABOUT THIS SLAUGHTERING, JUST PRAY FOR HER”. That seems to be their way of being pro-active. Action speaks louder than words complacent christian.

 

I still remember her campaign lies, on how she protects wildlife in Alaska, LOL. Bethan’s definition of “annointed” is scary.

Everytime I watch Fox News Channel they claim the troops are upset at Pres. Barack but it’s all lies. I have family in the U.S. Army who wanted out under Bush and are very proud to serve under Pres. Barack Obama. Serious Question About The Stockstill’s Being Prophets Friday, Apr 3 2009

     I have a serious  question for the followers of Bethany World Prayer Center. First, I already know they claim the tricksters, KIM CLEMENT and ORAL ROBERTS and BENNY HINN are biblical prophets of God. They supported Kim Clement’s prophecy that Sarah Palin would “shake things up” in the Presidential campaign due to her holiness(LOL) and hold Oral Roberts in very high esteem despite his failed prophecy that God gave him a message to build a Cancer Research Institute or God would kill him(Oral Roberts); years later that Research Center that God supposedly wanted went bankrupt!!

However, now Joel Stockstill and his daddy, Larry Stockstill, are claiming to be biblical prophets. Larry Stockstill is seeing dreams OF JUDGEMENT DAY and Joel Stockstill is “hearing” direct messages from THE LORD(despite both of their failed prophecy that Joel’s wife Amy wouldn’t die from her disease). Joel’s latest prophecy comes via his twitter blog called Hippofloat, “Geaux TIGERS!!! LSU wins championship at same time as 220 conf. that would[sic]  supercool and prophetic in some kind of way. Hippomusings” 8:58 pm, Jun 22. This so called prophet just loves to mock the holiness of the High Office of Prophet. He sums up very well how he goes about making his vague prophecies come true with calling LSU’s winning “…PROPHETIC IN SOME KIND OF WAY”. LOL!! That’s about right for all of his “hearing from the Lord”.

 

QUESTION: DO YOU  BELIEVE THE STOCKSTILLS SELF PROCLAMATION THAT THEY ARE MODERN DAY PROPHETS? IF SO, WHO ARE THE OTHER PROPHETS IN YOUR DENOMINATION(Charismatics)BESIDES BENNY HINN, KIM CLEMENT, ORAL ROBERTS, AND THE STOCKSTILLS?

 

God supposedly showed This proclaimed prophet(Larry Stockstill) that he's getting ready to initiate JUDGEMENT DAY on the church. This has been the sales pitch for his latest book, The Remnant.

 

Larry’s latest so-called prophecy comes just in time for the Pagan Feast of Easter(instead of Christ’s Passover Feast):

 

“In prayer this morning, I could see vultures circling over a lone figure in the wilderness. It was a confused, burned out, offended, deceived believer who has allowed the enemy to separate them from the Body of Christ. Satan is watching their pitiful condition in order to devour them. How many there are who once walked with the Lord and were happily in fellowship with other believers in the local church. Now, because of overwork, wrong priorities, relationship problems, hurt feelings, or temptation they are out in the “wilderness.”

 

It’s obvious that membership is down since the Stockstill’s belittling of President Obama.  He describes those who left the church as “…a lone figure in the wilderness”. It’s amazing how THE LORD shows Larry these dreams yet says nothing about how Bethany not only celebrates a Pagan Feast but renames The Holy Feast of Passover(1Cor.5:8) with the name of another god. One doesn’t need to be a prophet to see Larry Stockstill’s hypocrisy. What does the god easter and her bunny have to do with The Real GOD and His Passover Lamb? or as Paul states about this unequal yoke….

In April of 2005 Larry Stockstill sold his radio station, WQCK-“THE BRIDGE”, for an exact $3.2MILLION. I searched the Stockstill’s blogs and nothing was stated about the receiving of the $3.2Million. What I can’t understand is with this money in hand, why ask your congregation to give “over and above” their means?

What’s also interesting is that I asked some neighbors who still attend Bethany, “DOES BETHANY HAVE A RADIO STATION?”, their reply was the same, “OH YEAH, IT’S CALLED THE BRIDGE”. Upon presenting the sale of it in 2005, they admitted, “HUH? Whaaat??, WHEN??, Wait…..um.”

Well, after the reception of the $3.2 Million in the spring of 2005, they upgraided their WLFT-CA to channel 17 in the fall.  This channel is obviously making money, so again, why do the Stockstills continue to instruct their subordinates to sacrifice vacations and money to “the church” when the Church doesn’t sacrifice their own trips and spending. 

In fact, the latest post, March 31st, Joel once again brags about his shopping spree in DALLAS, TX.

Well, it seems when Larry Stockstill preaches, he’s still not practicing. When he calls on his congregation to cancel vacations and take on part time jobs to give more to his storage-house, he’s flying overseas to London and marketing another money maker. He’s overseas(Liverpool, England)  promoting his book “The Remnant” which is linked to his self-proclaimed status of a biblical prophet. Larry Stated that God has showed him a vision of Judgement Day that will be coming very very soon. Notice the only magazine that entertained this prophecy was the denomination that is the most corrupt, Charisma Magazine for the Charismatic/Pentecostal Denomination.

Larry Stocktill’s hypocrisy is so much in plain view,  how can his congregation fail to see it? It’s call oppressive authority!! When they go through that BRAINWASHING during the secluded “Encounters” they come out feeling like they are UNWORTHY to question ANY AUTHORITY! As a result, they get used up.

 When the Prosperity Gospel was popular and everyone was “speaking on it” and “claiming prosperity” and “Expecting A Hundred Fold In Return”, Larry Stockstill began marketing his prosperity-gospel book “THE LAWS OF INCREASE”. He’s so much into marketing his products that he DOESN’T EVEN USE the poor black folks in his congregation, instead, he uses models(CLICK HERE) CHECKOUT THE MOTHER Hugging her two daughters are models used by advertising agencies. U-haul has the same mother hugging her two kids in their brochures. Look at how their feet are daggling in mid air, it’s copied and pasted onto the other brother.

 

However, now that the Prosperity Gospel is no longer popular and HAS ROBBED THE POOR, Larry Stockstill wants to pretend that he’s repenting from this sin or in his own words “returning to simplicity”. The Stockstills surely aren’t bashful when it comes to traveling when their congregation is told to suspend theirs, LOL.

 

I have to give Larry credit though, he’s a slick one. First, he had his daughter go ahead of him and set up contacts Overseas with “Royalty” and when she opens doors…..he comes Daddy marketing his book, The Remnant. The ironic thing is that his marketing is definitely a Law of Increase.  Realizing many blacks in his congregation are withdrawing financial support, Larry has found another way to make money. He doesn’t need them anymore. Kicked to the curb.

 

Now he’s starting fresh in England where he’s attempting to market his book, THE LAWS OF INCREASE, all over again with the unsuspecting.
