The reasons for Joel Stockstill’s traveling to West Palm Beach have been evolving or I should say snowballing. The first lie was put forth by Joel’s minister, Jordan Jopling CLICK HERE, who claimed the center was closed and Joel had no choice but to seek dialysis for his diseased body in one of the wealthiest vacation spots in the U.S.A.
However, anyone watching the news was informed that such clinics and the hospitals were immediately restored (which even the staff will inform you).
Now, an anonymous poster with the email guitarboy@aol.com states that Joel had to travel way to West Palm Beach because Joel was turned away for treatment and the doctors were busy with other patients(CLICK HERE). The first red flag was this person calling them “DOCTORS” they aren’t doctors at the treatment center they are “NURSES”, LOL, some are RN some LPN’s.
Second, to claim the center turned Joel Stockstill away because they were busy with other patients is CRIMINAL. Also, let’s say the News, the staff at the treatment center, and my family member lied and Joel is the only one correct. That still doesn’t explain why he traveled way to West Palm Beach. He had other parishes within the state itself, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, and the Pan Handle of Florida. He frequents the controversial Brownesville Revival in Pensacola, surely he knows the area.
The point: stop lying! You’ll only have to create more and more lies to cover up the first one. The new claim that Joel Stockstill was turned away because the doctors were busy is a slap in the face to any half intelligent human being. THE CONGREGATION IS DOING THE RIGHT THING BY NOT DONATING TO HIS ACCOUNT. Why? Because The Stockstills have proving not to be good stewards of “God’s Money”(as if he really needs it). So The Stockstills need to practice what they preach. They are leaders who’s finances have been cursed because they aren’t being good stewards.
Second, the bible says that we aren’t to support God’s stewards by intimidation and coercion as the crooked Stewards of God’s Temple did in the First Century while Christ dwelt among his people.
2Cor. 9:7- Each one must do as he purposed in his heart, not grudgingly, OR UNDER COMPULSION, for God loves a cheerful giver.
It’s a shame that elsewhere he quotes 2Cor.9:7 when the money was coming in BUT when the cashflow stopped coming in, he drops this verse and tells those in hard times they ARE UNDER A CURSE and NEED TO PAY MORE TO REVERSE THE CURSE, LOL!! What hypocrisy! Christ has taken away all curses. Amen. To tell any born again Christian if he doesn’t continue to give over and beyond or EVEN TELL THEM THEY HAVE TO GIVE 10% OF THEIR SALARY NO MATTER WHAT IS A LIE!! As Paul stated, “each one must do as he purposed in his heart….”. It’s up to the individual to give as he sees fit NOT A TELEVANGELIST who’s family is the only one benefitting. Larry Stockstill you do not set the standard, Shame On You for coercing God’s flock. Woe to you Bethany (House of Poverty).
Third, Larry used 2Kings 2:19-22 to support his scare tactic that your money is cursed if you don’t continue to give to him because He’s the good steward of God’s Money, LOL and “Salt was the original method used to purify a wound, and it represents repentance and grace”. Since Larry Stockstill has been proven a liar and vow breaker let’s contest this greedy pastor’s eisegesis and see if what he claims is true. The verses he quoted to scare people into giving him money has nothing to do with giving YOUR MONEY TO A BAD STEWARD.
Furthermore, it has nothing to do with money. Christ took away all curses from us. To suggest that Christians can be cursed, is the same as saying they are not saved. Some important notes:
We can not purchase redemption from a curse with money, all is atoned with Christ sacrifice not Mammon
We are not to give fiancial support to poor stewards
We are not to give under coercion or compulsion or scare tactics
If the Stockstills broke their vows to make financial and recreational sacrifices THEY ARE UNDER A CURSE ACCORDING TO WHAT LARRY STOCKSTILL PREACHES THEY HAVE ALLOWED SATAN TO ENTER THEIR FIANCES
You know the more I read his sermons and the more people get scared and continue to obey Larry Stockstill’s 20/20 vision by, IT’S HARD TO FEEL SORRY FOR THEM. Yet, we need to keep our hearts soft. Once people have been brainwashed into a cult like this and give away their belongings in order to purchase redemption from curses, their family suffers because of course things will go from bad to worse.
Larry Stockstill, shouldn’t be threatening his congregation with SATAN’S CURSES in these times. Anyone watching the news, knows these times are hard. Larry practice what you preach and have a heart.

I told you in a previous blog (Larry Stockstill’s Indirect Repentance) that only time will tell if Larry was sincere about his repentance. I’m sure you’ve all heard his sermons about true repentance. It’s about turning the other way and doing the right thing. I’m sad to say Larry Stockstill is a thief and con-artist, an oppurtunist. He pledged that he and his wife Melanie Stockstill would make sacrifices with their congregation if the congregation pledged into his 20/20 vision program by not just paying tithes but by making additional sacrifices like:
Surrendering family heirlooms to the Stockstills
Signing over your homes to the Stockstills
Working Part time jobs and give him your checks
Give more than 10% out of your paychecks
Hand over any pay raises to him

Again, if the congregation agreed to hand over their additional monies and property and make sacrifices like cancelling trips and vacations, he promised he would do the same. However, Larry Stockstill lied to the people and does nothing but takes trips to Europe and monopolize real estate in Baton Rouge, put his kids through the best colleges, and allow them to travel Europe as well. ABSOLUTELY NO SACRIFICES, PURE LIES TO GET THE PEOPLES’ MONEY, JUST AS ORAL ROBERTS AND THE REST OF THE CORRUPT CHARISMATIC TELEVANGELIST DO!! As we seen with Al Sharpton and the local Black Churches in North Iberville, unlike Bethany these small churches still fight for civil rights while The Stockstills talk the talk.
For those who need a refresher, despite the thousands that attend Bethany and keep calling it a “non-denominational church” it’s part of the Charismatic(CLICK HERE) Third Wave move ment. Lying Larry even graduated from the dubious Oral Roberts University that was filled with misappropiation of funds, lawsuits, and founded by a lying prophet Oral Roberts(claimed God would kill him if he didn’t receive more money to build a cancer institute which later went bankrupt, LOL).
Lying Larry followed his denominations corruption with the Prosperity Gospel movement which preached that Godliness is a means to financial gain(1Tim.6:5). As a result, Larry produced his book The Laws of Increase which promises if you follow these laws you’ll get your increase. This man of greed didn’t stop there, after selling his radio station and received $3.2 million, he wanted more and coerced his congregation into making pledges as outlined in his 20/20 Vision Plan.
One of the basic pledges was to cancel trips. I know of many who did and are still doing that while Larry and HIS KIDS travel the world and graduate from the best colleges!! While Larry lied about his pledge, the naive congregation continues to obey, RIGHT IN THEY FACE IS THE EVIDENCE!!

Because they have been brainwashed that The Stockstills are untouchable prophets of God. LARRY STOCKSTILL CLAIMED IN CHARISMA MAGAZINE THAT GOD SHOWED HIM A VISION OF JUDGEMENT DAY!! YET, LARRY’S ON VACATION TAKING IT EASY!! It was all a scam to promote his book, The Remnant. Every vision from this false prophet just happens at the same time he publishes another book! Wake Up Folks, the world is laughing at you.
Tony Foster, a sincere message to you and yours. As long as you believe and follow Larry Stockstill’s financial pledges you’ll never see the things he gets to see. Your storehouse is being robbed and tossed into the Stockstill Unlimited Funds. He lied to you. He never stuck with his pledge. The Stockstills as a whole have been traveling the world and studying at the best colleges. Our children will never see what their kids experience if we continue to buy into his scams.
As soon as I realized these scams, I’ve been able to:
Give reasonable support to my local church
Take much needed vacations with my family ANNUALLY
Actually pay off bills instead of following the Larry’s way of giving him over and beyond donations with the hopes that God will reward me by paying my bills supernaturally
Have enough save for 3 out 4 of my kids to attend LSU
Larry Stockstill like his son, travels when times are bad. Remember Joel fled Baton Rouge area immediately after Gustav for West Palm Beach for some shopping while everyone else barely had food and electricity. Well, his Daddy fled when Rev. Al Sharpton came into N.Iberville. WBRZ showed black church members praying over the School Board and being arrested. WBRZ showed a murdered victim in the poor city of Baker where Larry lives.
The above travel through Europe isn’t the only broken vow to make sacrifices. If you search his blogs you’ll find him overseas promoting his book and other speaking ventures. Where is the sacrifices he promised to make??!! Where are the sacrifices his kids promised to make??!!
Peace And Grace Be Upon The Assembly of God Who Have Been Blessed With The Gift of Discernment
First, a little history of those unaware. Joel Stockstill has a history of failed prophecies, in particular, he prophesied that Christ was going to heal his wife from her disease on the foundation of poor hermeneutics; See Here. The Biblical Prophets were very different from False Prophets by the fulfillment of their prophecies. Joel’s history is hit and miss; He misses on the details but when he speaks like a French Quarter Palm Reader with vagueness, he’s able to coerce his prophecies into a hit.
Second, he proclaimed Gov. Sarah Palin as an annointed princess versus President Obama. He campaigned for her via his website with article praising her Christianity and family as annointed. He along with the other false Televangelist/Prophet Kim Clement claimed Sarah Palin would “shake things up” during the election process. This is where he “hits” because the prophecy is so vague, it can be fulfilled no matter what. Wouldn’t a African American Christian President being elected considered to be “shaking things up” rather than a dense barbie like Palin whose daughter is pregnant unwed teen?
However, his campaigning (or as Joel dressed it up) “Prophecy” about Sarah Palin caused a split in his predominately black congregation. Joel, with the help of other managers, were able to divide and conquer this protest. However, some continue to attend the church yet remain against Joel Stockstill and surely let him know it. These blacks only attend because of their loyalty to their Cell-Leader and friends. Yet, this remnant continues to speak their minds and JOEL KNOWS IT!!
Joel Stockstill, Persecuted Prophet or Cry Baby?
As a result, Joel seeks more pity and dresses himself up like a “PERSECUTED PROPHET”. He uses a lone verse from Hosea(9:8) which states:
The Prophet, along with my God, is the watchman over Ephraim, yet snares await him in all his paths and hostility in the house of his God(V.8)
Joel obviously justifying his campaigning for Sarah Palin and the disturbance it caused, now claims to have “…snares await him in all his paiths and hostility in the house of his God(Hos.9:8)”.
The problem with Joel’s eisegesis is that Joel Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET no matter how many times he blogs about his claim AND Larry Stockstill IS NOT A BIBLICAL PROPHET despite him claiming to see visions of JUDGEMENT DAY approaching(this comes conviently in time for his latest book, The Remnant). Both so-called prophets have a history of failed prophecies. YOU CAN’T BE RIGHT SOME OF THE TIME YOU HAVE TO PROPHETICALLY CORRECT ALL THE TIME. I’m still awaiting an answer to my “Serious Question About The Stockstill’s Claim To Be Biblical Prophets“. Their propecies always comes in sync with either a book deal, conference, or members they can’t control.
Joel, having a double standard against Pres. Obama and being held accountable for it, doesn’t make you a Persecuted Prophet, it makes you a hypocrite and racist. One standard for whites and another for blacks. You still fail to speak about the lack of morality in the Palin houselhold with Bristol Palin’s out wedlock birth, yet you expose the splinters in Pres. Obama’s eyes.
You’re claim to be a Prosecuted Prophet is pathetic, God will continue to visit his judgements on your house and save the true victims.
Peace Be Upon You In The Name of Christ, Our Passover Lamb(1Cor.5:7-8)
In Joel’s latest blog, Wonder of Easter(April 11, 2009), The self proclaimed prophet Joel states, “My prophetic prayer and challenge tonight is that the God of Easter (who created the bunny but resembles a lion!) would be seen by the eyes of your heart.”.
Easton's Bible Dictionary- "originally a Saxon word (Eostre), denoting a goddess of the Saxons, in honour of whom sacrifices were offered about the time of the Passover. Hence the name came to be given to the festival of the Resurrection of Christ, which occured at the time of the Passover. In the early English versions this word was frequently used as the translation of the Greek pascha (the Passover). When the Authorized Version (1611) was formed, the word "passover" was used in all passages in which this word pascha occurred, except in Act 12:4. In the Revised Version the proper word, "passover," is always used.
As we search the Holy Scriptures, we can not find Joel’s “god of easter”. The only God we find is the GOD of PASSOVER/UNLEAVEN BREAD. I searched for a unbiased article and came across one from The Island of Jamaica, click here. I encourage any believer who is serious about their bible studies research the history of the church’s fight NOT TO REPLACE Passover with Rome’s easter feast. The author of the Jamaican Glean rightly notes:

The GOD who created rabbits did not wish us to replace his Holy Day with a holiday. He did not instruct us to replace the Passover Lamb with an Easter Ham. Brothers and sisters challenge authority that replaces the commandments of GOD with the Traditions of men.
